Ghanaian Dance Instructor – Vivian

Vivian Boateng is the CEO of Vivie’s Dance Factory, a dance school made up of passionate, professionally trained artists with the commitment of promoting the Arts through education, performance and entertainment. She is also an Assistant Lecturer in Theatre Studies at the Department of Theatre Arts, School of Performing Arts. She has her Degree in Theatre and Dance Studies and Master of Fine Arts in Directing. With over a decade experience in Theatre and Dance practice, some of her research includes Aesthetics in play Directing: transforming text into movement.
Her dance school offers classes in Traditional Ghanaian dance and drumming, Popular/Afro Dance and Contemporary Dance. She also holds monthly folklore sessions where children learn folksongs, listen to a folktale and perform in a drama.
